Is websites really in danger with AI?
This same question arose in people's minds when, in 1998, Google was launched, and Yahoo vanished like thin air. However, in that equation, something remained the same—they were both search engines directing users to websites for the answers they were looking for. Now, with the launch of AI, think about this: if you want to search for something, would you really like to go through ads, vague content, constant cookie prompts, and agreements you never read, or simply receive a detailed answer in a way you can imagine? I think that answers your question. The main question arises now:
Is it really over for us?
Are writers, bloggers, news outlets, and learning websites doomed? I think not. Let's investigate the problem and find solutions for your future.
THE AI VIRUS
If you think about it, it really is like a virus spreading slowly, with no cure. But are we sure about that? Let's discuss what it can’t overtake, even if it develops further.
Live Drama
As we all know, AI works with existing data, but what about data that has never existed before and is happening in the present? That’s right—it can’t give live news or telecasts because it’s not pre-existing data. That’s why news websites or live telecasts are a good scope for the long term, at least until AI evolves further.
Unique Personal Experiences
There are endless possibilities of what can happen to you in a day. That’s what makes us unique—everyone has a different perspective on things, and it’s different for everyone. AI can be good with words, but it can’t imagine without human input. Even if someone feeds it information, not everyone experiences the same emotions—anger, joy, sorrow, or even apathy—at events like a funeral. It’s fascinating how unpredictable human feelings can be. So, for now, writers can sleep peacefully—at least until AI becomes much more advanced.
The Dark Corner
Yes, we’re talking about illegal websites. It’s something you shouldn’t do, but for those who are doing it, they will have more time until they get banned. AI is not allowed to engage with such content, so they don’t have much to worry about for now—unless an AI designed specifically for illegal websites emerges. That is something I’m waiting to see.
The Mixer Mind
AI works with consistent data it has but can’t merge ideas unless explicitly guided. For example, imagine cricket teams from different countries. For years, cricket was only played between nations, but one person had the idea to mix players randomly, creating leagues like the IPL. If that idea had never come to someone's mind, it couldn’t have been made. Similarly, without creativity, AI can’t generate such unique ideas. It can only suggest pre-existing concepts.
Conclusion
After this investigation, the final verdict is clear: AI cannot fully take over as long as creativity comes into play. Don’t think AI is the greatest invention there will ever be. The most extraordinary invention, with endless possibilities, is and always will be a HUMAN.
